RyuinfinityPDN
PDN si the only image editor I know (other than MS Paint) that has an image on the canvas on startup. I am NEVER making an 800X600 image, so I always just end up clicking "new". Why does PDN need to keep using a blank, white, 800X600 image instead of none like GIMP has. Simon Brown
Presumably it does help many users, as realised with requests to allow customisation of the default size. Besides this, as far as I know having a default canvas does not require any additional steps to start a new image, as unless it as been modified, it closes when a new image is created. barkbark00
...so I always just end up clicking "new"...I don't see how having the default blank canvas is a problem for you...You would still be clicking "New" if it wasn't there. RyuinfinityPDN
But it fuels my laziness, and occasionally I just make an image at 800X600, but then realize it would make a great background. So I have to resize it, and lose quality. Quote -- Make an Explosion in Space--

RyuinfinityPDN
But that's just a workaround. I want a built in solution. Let's see what Rick says. Quote -- Make an Explosion in Space--
