aafuss
Where can I get the source code for 2.5? I need that one as I use .NET 1.1.
Rick Brewster
This file is not available for download anymore. Version 2.5 has been completely discontinued. aafuss
That's OK. Can I get a version which compiles with .NET 1.1 anywhere? Or can the Express Edition of VS2005 be used with v2.6 src? (with of course some difficulity)
Bob
PdN use some C++, you won't be able to build it with those tools. It has the following system prerequisites[...]: * Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 * Tablet PC SDK v1.7 * 2.61 source code: Visual Studio 2005 Professional Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

aafuss
Ah,thanks. It does seem to compile and open, in VC# 2005 Express, but you can't really do much-like edit any forms. So that's why Pro is required.

Rick Brewster
aafuss = A. A. Fussy = "Babya Software Group" http://www.teknidermy.com/issue/11/babyafied/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babya_logic He basically goes and rips off free software and VB sample code and calls it his own. "Teddy" is what the members of the shellcity.net forums would use to reply to his inane, over persistent thread postings. Search Google Groups (http://groups.google.com) for "Babya". I didn't know that. I just wanted to make a Teddy bear... <_< Quote I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype

Rick Brewster
The screenshot is actually from Paint.NET v2.0... so no, he didn't remove anything. Just backspaced and typed in Babya. Crazy Man Dan
Ah... Sorry. It's been a while since I've used 2.0. I love how he just reuses your features descriptions and reviews, just throwing in the Babya name a lot. Hi-Larious! >_> Slanty-Eye Emote still doesn't like it, though... Rick Brewster
He has "released" 100+ applications over the last few years. He just takes sample code or other free software and hacks it to say Babya and then releases it. Lately he's been taking the sample code in the Macintosh SDK's and releasing as "Babya Software." For more context, * http://teknidermy.com/issue/11/babyafied/ -- Interview * http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babya_logic -- Wikipedia * search Google Groups for "babya" * listen to his podcasts on Odeo (seriously, listen to them) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
