  1. When I .... Edit by Rick: Removed question. aafuss, you are not welcome here.
  2. Is it OK to call any changes in the source code that you make for Paint.NET under a diifferent name?
  3. Thanks!-with that plugin, I don't need open something like Babya Icon Studio or AWIcons to do just the export.

  7. No sir. Photoshop, OpenOffice apps, MS apps - all display fonts really quick. Only pdn does it slow. I agree-displaying fonts should be speeded up.

  9. How easy would it be to added .ico export?-as I like using Paint.NET for icon designing. Otherwise, I have open a Babya program or AWIcons to do that.
  10. Can't seeem to get the source code-went to SkyORB, but can't find a download link?
  11. Thanks!-I'll be interested seeing how the skins compare to other UI designs.
  12. I think it would make using Paint.NET, if it simplified the number of windows needed for major functions. Some examples of innovative design: I recently released Babya PhotoPro , which has a innovative design: by making use of fewer tool windows, with the most important tools are kept in the main window with auto hiding panel areas -see the screenshot: http://www.softpedia.com/screenshots//B ... oPro_1.png That hiding panels concept works well-it's de-cluttered and I love working with it. Even if the various palettes could be docked to just a icon as in Adobe software, or a Office 2007 style ribbon interface it would be much cleaner. Study these programs UI design-and I think they are the role models. Just some thoughts about UI design-you don't have to change anything-this could wait until v 5.0.
  13. Ah,thanks. It does seem to compile and open, in VC# 2005 Express, but you can't really do much-like edit any forms. So that's why Pro is required.
  14. That's OK. Can I get a version which compiles with .NET 1.1 anywhere? Or can the Express Edition of VS2005 be used with v2.6 src? (with of course some difficulity)
  15. Where can I get the source code for 2.5? I need that one as I use .NET 1.1.
