ChuckK Posted February 1, 2016 Share Posted February 1, 2016 I get this error when installing latest version: "There was an error while installing paint.net (1602)" & their is also a "fatal error" msg displayed. What version did you have previously? Tell us your system specifications. Sys Info: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit OS 24 Gig Ram Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60 GHz Dual Drive---------------------------------- C: 240 Gig Solid State D: 2 Terabyte HD Older installed version was installed over D: drive root directory (Should not have beer when installing programs) not in a separate directory. . Use that or Revo Uninstaller to remove the previous installation. Then try a fresh install to the default location.
