  1. No offence barbieq25, but the first link you have provided is no different to the one I posted. In fact Ego Eram Reputo locked that first link for being too similar to Simon Brown's method (and for having images too large) Plus Simon Brown's method also explains softening the outline (Step #6) once the image has been cut out.

    I'm not trying to put your advice down,  It's just that your advice is exactly the same as the link I provided to the OP, but it does give me the impression that my help is non valid! (or that's how I see it)  :(

  2.  Very cool wood :-)

    Thanks deedeec102, my original plan was to have the lettering carved instead of embossed, but As always with my work, nothing ever goes to plan :lol:

    Once again, a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing :)

  3. DrewDale... where was that when I searched the forum for wood?  That would have saved me a lot of time... I would not have bothered... Oh well... WelshBlue I added the URL to the plugins... Cheers.

    What I mean is my image is what I made using your tutorial, I just added a variation to the end result :)

  4. nitenurse79 - great use of perspective, I do think the black void area could benefit some stars (noise perhaps?) but overall the end result is top work.

    Sand33P - Nice font and reflection, but as it is a work in progress, I don't see the reason for entering it in a comp :/

    I give nitenurse79 - 5 x :star:

    I give Sand33P - 2 x :star:

    So if I am correct it is now;

    nitenurse79 - 12 :star:

    Sand33P - 10 :star:
