    Gosh thanks ! :oops: I enjoy the work all of you do so much and greatly appreciate any advice you give. I also appreciate you taking the time to stop in and see what I have done. I hope that I get better with time and by learning from all of you on this forum.

    Well my image is neither realistic nor abstract, I don't know if it could fall under this thread:

    Named it ENERGY

    But wouldn't that hurt? :shock: Ha ha :lol: , I agree, that would be so much cooler. I'm not that advanced yet. I have years of catching up with you guys ! Any suggestions on how to do that? I would love to be able to do something like that.

    On your apple, the stem should be a little wider on the top and then taper down to the apple. The point where they attach to the tree is a little thicker and triangular or conical in shape. Very good job though. It looks like a Granny Smith apple. They are great for making pie!

    @Yellowman - Wonderful job on the watermellons. I could not help but notice the way they are positioned. I, uh........never mind, I'll send you a PM. :D

    @ Ash. I agree with you on the shine on the "mellons" in reality they do not shine like an apple, but in a more muted softer way. I do think the lighter part on the bottom of the mellon looks correct. When I grow any kind of mellon, there is always a lighter place on the bottom where they were touching the gound and did not receive sunshine. Great idea on having one cut open, makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

    Wow I don't know where to start. First of all, great idea on your "Welcome to my junk pyle" image. That is soooo cool. The velocity image with the sports car is really great. I love how you took the car into an abstract setting. Man it really works, just awesome as a desktop wallpaper. Your sigs are really fun. How many forums are you on? Your hand drawn work is really good. I never thought of scanning my hand drawings and doing more to them in PdN. I haven't done any pencil or ink work in so long. I'm getting old and feeble and can barely sign my name anymore. Man, I'm gonna dig up some of my old stuff and scan it at the office and see what I can do. Thanks for the idea ! Overall I think your work is really good. I can't wait to see more of your stuff.

    Oh and your avatar is one of my favorites.

    Hi im pretty new, could som1 plz rate my signature... :?

    I like the idea of doing it in an oblique angle but it is kind of dark and I cannot make out the detail. Try the curves in the adjustments menu and bring out the detail using the luminosity curves. That might do it.

    @ Storm.Shadow, I really like the bottle it is really fantastic. The smoke effect is very nice and looks so real. I can't seem to figure out how to do it just yet. Are the stars in the background a custom brush? They are so nice and smooth. I might have made the sizes vary a bit, but they are just beautiful.

    Thanks very much ! I think I'll try your suggestion. What color do ghosts glow? My wife says green.

    I have no idea what color the ghost glow...if green, then I'm reminded of Slimy from "Ghostbusters." :lol: I have never seen a ghost so I couldn't honestly answer that question.

    Your next picture with the heart and arrow looks to be such a sweet image for your wife. There's a lot of love there, isn't there? Just clean up the edge and smooth it out, and that will be a knock out picture. Yes, the stars was a custom brush I downloaded and converted to .png.

    @Xander...thank you for your kind comment about the bottle. Some seem to not like the blurry bottle, and some like it. I suppose it's a matter of taste and interpretation. As for your remark about a geek, I consider myself a nerd and wear it proudly. My wife and I went to watch "Star Trek," and we loved it!

    Yeah I kind of messed it up and didn't know how to fix it. She really liked it though :D The heart originally came from a logo I did for our local forum. I did this image th_LoveInColor.png

    from the logo and then did the heart and arrow for her that weekend. Do you have any suggestions on how I could fix the heart? I would really like to get rid of the blurriness at the top. I know I enlarged the heart way too much and that is what caused it.

    Oh btw, I think the green ghost glow is what I'll go with. I have seen a ghost but he didn't glow green, he was just kind of misty looking. (long story........) A green glow would be kind of Scooby Doo ghost looking.
