  1. You sure about that, Mr Atwell? viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22766 Edit, Sabrown beat me
  2. Ok, sorry about this but it was brought to my attention via PM that I wasnt making any more sense then a dog barking at its own shadow so let me explain some more. When I double click a .PDN image filetype I get a Paint.NET loading screen resulting in quicker load times for Paint.NET (I believe that loading time is spent dedicated to opening plugins, could be wrong). However, when I simply open up Paint.NET by shortcut or not .PDN image filetype I do not get this loading screen. So my question is, why is there a dedicated loading screen for .PDN images? Here is a screenshot of such loading screen:
  3. Yes, but the problem lied in the fact that the Paint.NET Fietype API requires that image information be sent back to Paint.NET, from what I understood from Rick.
  4. Unfortunetly there is no basic way that has been released (*Cough* Pyrochild *Cough*). At the moment your best bet is to play around with the 'Key' Levels and try to match but this could be difficult and tedious. I am sorry!
  5. I am going to have to agree with Sabrown here... *Cough*
  6. I have a quick question: why is there only a loading screen for plugins and what not when you open up Paint.NET by double clicking a PdN File and not simply opening up Paint.NET?
  7. No, no, and no. Did I say no? The key words is... The keyword is having non programmers releasing plugins that have to install. I will not touch those for my life, I only fiddle with DLLs.
  8. Yes, certain portions of the layer you are working on must be completely transparent (CurrentPixel.A=0)
  9. Great! Expect an update sometime tommorow (hopefully)
  10. I want this feature as well, but much like how Opera manages it. Save your sessions and let reorganize. This would be very cool!
  11. No I never passed this idea by you, sorry  Anyways, cant wait to get home and see if it works like it should
  12. Alright, Alpha Works is finished but not compiled yet. I need Code Lab to start behaving correctly and I will make the big upload.
  13. This has been requested over and over again. For now I recommend using Curtis's new and amazing Channel Mask as it allows for easier masking.
  14. Yes, for those who are wondering. I am just beginning. To see the setup in action go to http://pdnguide.zxq.net/ as to find out how I plan on doing things.
  15. Ah, but you dont know what the question entailed. Searching would not have helped.
  16. I may be wrong about this, but wouldnt that error have been caused by the previous installation attempt being logged in the registry?
  17. Heh, just got another PM regarding plugin installation. I would have loved to say 'Read the Rules!'
  18. This may sound 'rude' but I think if a rule can be created that can protect seasoned users and give seasoned users the chance to point out the rules to individual users then I think that oppurtunity needs to be grasped. I just had an interesting idea but is nothing I really want enforced: a private section of the forum for seasoned users (apart from the Mods lound and Beta Center and any others there may be that I do not know of)
  19. You dont necessarily 'create' an application, you create an imaginary dream application in Paint.NET. All it is is images, nothing else.
