  1. Thanks guys... make my 2 minute hilt look bad.
  2. Psst. This is the plugins forum. Soon this will get moved to the Q&GD.
  3. Here's a very basic sword hilt: Is this what you are looking for?
  4. I'll assume you were referring to DemonOfSand. Although you are most welcome too!
  5. No ... Well, it definitely did. The load time is decreased by several seconds. Nothing to write home about, but noticeable. Maybe this is just a side effect of other fixes you made.
  6. If the verdict isn't Calvin then I think I would go for the 7 Wonders.
  7. I think the loadup time decreased. Was that one of the advertised improvements?
  8. Yes, that is what I mean. Thank you. I am glad to hear that there is a little more in store (some more to come)! Ash: You can stop now. We all know how good you are at this.
  9. You mean the PDN folder to save into? You don't really need to. Save to your desktop. Expand the zip file. Open Explorer and go to My Computer> Local Disk (C or whatever disk PDN is installed on)> Program Files> Paint.NET> Effects. Drag the .dll file into the effects folder. There you go. I hope this is what your asking.
  10. Looks like there's an Ink Portrait effect in there too.
  11. I thought at first, you wrote "You can access it by pressing [ALT] + [F4]"... Thought there was a geek joke brewing... That's a cheat code in Halo, but it just shuts it down for me... That's hilarious.
  12. Welcome to PDN! It's great that you love Paint.NET and the forums. Keep working on your graphic skills, they can take you places (and into careers) you couldn't dream of. Also, there is a .pcx file plugin somewhere. Just use the search. EDIT: Nevermind, uH's got to be all convenient again.
  13. Well, that's the part I'm fuzzy on. The Overlay: Cut out (delete) all the background pixels (using Magic Wand, Eraser, etc.) Carefully!. Feather the remainder to make it look nice and smooth. Text Backround: Cut out the things you want in the foreground. Copy them to another layer (top layer). Add text, etc, to the bottom layer, or make a third layer and put the text there (middle layer, or something like that). Alpha Masking: Heck, I wish I knew. Sorry for the brief, basic advice, but I need to get to bed.
  14. I'm not sure I'm the best to help you, but nice job on the specific topic title! Where'd you learn to do that? Anyway, the Overlaying would be rather monotonous cutting out of pixels you don't want. The Text background would be some layering. And the blurring would be alpha masking and gaussian blurring.
  15. I love MKT's english . Do you plan on working on any more plugins, MKT?
  16. During the summer, much of my life is similar. But that's a story for another topic. --->offtopic Here's a sig I created and posted in the overflow:
  17. It's not a big deal, and we're not ganging up on you Rawlins, just trying to keep the continuity, etc.
