Zoom out...?
-
-
Yeah, ouch. Looking back, it hurts...this was pre-I-have-the-feather-plugin.
Didn't make a whole lot of difference though...
-
Very nice barkbark...it appears you didn't subscribe to the clouds/zoomblur technique though...?
-
Good job Nat. Looks very good.

Honestly everything I know about photo manipulation/layers/colors came from the PDN forum. This site here is a giant interactive help file in itself. But I think that having an option to download the help files separately would be a nice thing.

Ooo that's pretty...
-
Sounds good...I'll make an attempt to participate, even though there's no way I can compete. So how about some rules? I'm unfamiliar with these types of competitions, so someone will have to explain it to me... :?

I thougt it was cool he was using the new smilies...
-
No problem. Just thought I'd ask.

Hey Rick these are all amazing...and I hate to ask it, but is there any chance you could put alt text on the pictures? And I can't seem to find clouds...it's like a bad game of Where's Waldo...
-
I like the Tetris-themed floor...
...that I would be very interested in figuring out...perhaps :clouds: with :Pixelate: and ? (No clouds symbol...? )
EDIT: Hooray I'm a genius!

Hooray for peaceful resolution! Instead of "I think this" "you're wrong" "no you're wrong idiot" "well, uh...your mom"

The 1280x1024 version is my wallpaper...
Special thanks to Tom Jackson for the fiery text tutorial and Dark_King for the start on the circle-of-fire-twist-thing.
That spirally thing is really cool!
I asked Dark_King if he was going to make a tut on the way he does it...he said if he gets the time.

Ah...I was wondering how those abstract 3d renders would ever come in handy...
-
Yeah, out of the linux command line editor, I'm most familiar with vi...and therefore find it the easiest to use. *gooses* (geese?)
-
I find the background fascinating...did you use images for all the swirly line things, or is that created by you? Especially the nightcrawler and link ones.
-
Ah! My eyes! :?
-
Ah...this excites me. Now all I need to do is find something to write a tut on...
-
Huh. Never thought of that.
-
Sweet. Looks good!

^ Ditto again. ^
"Ditto" means "yeah. what he said."

Ooo...how about a smiley that chews up a photoshop banner?

@six: reminds me of this comic by xkcd.com...
@Extra: Honestly, I liked the old one (sans compression) better... :?
@Madjik: Way cool, as usual. Geez man, don't you ever run out of inspiration?
