The Pictorium! Post your created or edited images here!

I did not comment on this at the time, but I think this is one of the best things you've done. Wow. I wish I could do that kind of thing. -

I haven't looked in the code to answer your question, but in my expirence, the best way to draw standard shapes is to use GDI+. You can see how to do it in my source code here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2580 (Ignore the source code listing in that post. Instead, download the VS2005 project zip file listed under the "Source Code" section.) The nice thing about using GDI+ is the fact that you can draw anti-aliased shapes, fast.

Help a Newbie in Need..

pyrochild, The BoltBait is not pleased with your line of questioning. Oh, and I think there is a clause in there somewhere about being mature. Although, if there is, I'm not sure how I slipped by. BTW, the golden rule of modship is, "Never ask to be a mod. If a mod is needed, and you have proven yourself worthy, they will contact you." -

There are two moderators: "Crazy Man Dan" and "BoltBait". Those two poor, underpaid, fools mod the board along with Rick Brewster, the developer for Paint.NET. Neither Crazy Man Dan nor BoltBait are affiliated with the development team... they just hung around the board so much that Rick had to either make them mods or start charging them rent. Since they were both broke, you see what happened... -

Only the moderators can sticky a topic. Basically, we look at them, and if we feel that it is important enough, we sticky them. Later, when they aren't so important anymore, we unsticky them. -

EXIF Editing / Save For Web EXIF Removal
BoltBait replied to heyitsme's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Well, Yata, thank you so much for your input. This has been asked for before. I believe Rick has plans for adding EXIF editing in a future version. I'm not sure when, though. A quick search of the General Discussion board for "EXIF" returns 14 results... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/search.php ...like this one: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2521 -

Suggestion: Scroll wheel zooming
BoltBait replied to Alph Tech / STUART's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
The one thing I absolutely hate about CorelDraw is that the scroll wheel is tied to zoom and can't be reassigned to scroll up and down. -

I noticed, in your history window, that you used "Fast Blur". Can you reproduce the same error using Gaussian Blur instead? I'm curious if there is a problem with Fast Blur.
