I'm new here and to using paint.net...I don't know if anyone can help me, but is there anywhere on the web that can show me a step-by-step guide on how to make this . I would really like to learn how to make this shade and shine of gold with this texture.. I am a total beginner and am enjoying learning how to use paint.net. I did do a search here and have read through the forums so, I'm sorry if i somehow missed it if this has already been explained or if my post wasn't worded right.. I will get better. Ash Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 Start with (You can either pick the gold color now or adjust later) Then use Curves (read here http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/Curves.html ) Play around with curves and see what happens to your image. Use color filter plugin if you didn't pick the 1st and 2nd color for your gold earlier. (Plugin in this pack viewtopic.php?f=16&t=23885 ) Done ps. If you really can't find the right color for gold. you can use :ColorPicker: on your smaple image to find out it's colors.
