Bending an image

Ive had a good search for bending, and have come up stumped, I need help on bending an image say like a tablecloth lays over the edge of a table, how would I recreate that sortve image?

As I say ive done a few searches and come up short so if you guys can help it'll be much appreciated

havnt got a sample, ive tried 3d shape and it just doesnt look right, hang on let me look for a sample, other than that picture standing away from a table with a check cloth laid over its edges thats the image Im trying to create.

Make sense?

sorry for the size

but something like that but without the folds on the vertical corners

Yeah. shape3d should work.

Hint: Box mode

tried that one, but to get a flat vertical image and the top dissapearing off into the distance doesnt work, what you end up with is a either a front on pic and no top or a top and the front view angled inwards which looks horrible tbh.

hmmm???? ive had this prog about 3 days so everything im trying is brand new to me, I tried the 3d shape thing and my result looked nothing like that image, maybe I was using the wrong 3d image(render yes?).

Id like to know how you got that look though???? :mrgreen:

Draw the cloth pattern on canvas.

Load the attached xml file in shape3d.

Use :RectangleSelectTool: then rotate & resize the selection using :MoveSelectionTool:

then hit delete button on the keyboard to erase the bottom part of the cloth.

Select the vertical part of the cloth.

Use the Wobble plugin (while selection is active & at low setting)

Bam!

Done.
