[Suggestion] Copy Layers

It would be helpfull when you could copy the layer from picture 1 to picture 2.

So you coud copy whole "effect-strings" much easier as before.

Is there a chance to implement this feature to P.net?

what do you mean by 'effects-strings'? the history of effects applied to the original layer?

that would be useful in certain ways, but the memory usage would be huge, and i think that it must be rather complicated to make.

but anyway if Rick sees some usefullness in this go ahead.

In the road map for v4.xx is: layer masks, adjustment layers, effect layers, composite layers.

So; maybe then. But that is not in the near future.

Not sure if this is what your looking for but select the whole layer you want to copy, in the new image create a new layer and paste what you copied into there.
