rockintyler
I'm trying to download a plug-in using Mozilla Firefox but the downloaded file isn't showing on my Desktop nor can my computer find the program to open it up. So how do I get it where it should be in the Effect File in my Paint.NET? Any ideas? Do I need to download something to open it up?
Leif
Plugins are usually in a zip file. Use 7-Zip if you don’t have anything else, but windows can usually do it. Then put the DLL in the effects folder. There is a tread about it all in the plugin forum. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2023 Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves. Wither
The difference between Firefox and IE has nothing to do with this issue. The plugin author just didn't zip it is all. Your computer won't extract it because there's nothing to extract! Just go check where FF saves your files and look for it there. Then drag the .dll to the Effects folder and away you go! Pantera1395
If your downloading just the Dll, right click the downloaded file, and click, open containing folder. The downloaded file should be highlighted, then you can drag it into the Paint.net effects folder. I had trouble with that too when I had o download just a .dll Quote Myspace, Hack this site.org, My DAmn page
