Can I add a plain white border - easily??

Hello. I am new here, and new to Paint.NET.

It's the perfect little programme for my needs, apart from one thing. I would like to be able to add a plain white border, 4px wide, to an image. Is there an easy way to do this? In other editors I have used, you can just "Add Border". But I haven't seen that option in Paint.NET?

I am using V3.10.

Yes:

Image > Canvas Size

Set Anchor to middle and increase Pixel size both in width and height by 8px. (ignore other controls).

Hello again.

My earlier message was referring not to the printed version of an image, but to the digital version.

I have a web site where all my images are displayed on-screen with a white border. I used to add this to my Jpgs with Photo Studio, but I have just moved to a new system that doesn't have that programme.

I tried the Canvas option, but couldn't get that working. Sorry!

I will try the plug ins. But any other ideas?
