cant find my pluggins

Recommended Posts

Some things to check.

Right-Click on the DLL files and look at the properties. See if there is an "unblock" button on the general tab. If so, click it.

Did you check the various menus for your effects? For example, the Color Balance effect in my signature shows up in the Adjustment menu instead of the Effects menu. The Feather effect in my signature shows up under the Effects > Blurs submenu.

Are you running the latest (3.10) version of Paint.NET? Some effects will not run on older versions of Paint.NET.

Hope this helps.

ok i downloaded feather from your page and it worked.I downloaded the others the same way.I dont understand why they are not showing up.

Probably because I'm so much better than other plugin authors.

Well, Paint.NET is working properly. You'll have to take it up with the other plugin authors as to what might be wrong.

i downloaded...ed effect

There are two .dll files with this one, did you extract both to your Effects folder?

If you did and it still doesn't solve the issue, then heed BoltBait's advice and seek the assistance from the plugin authors, or, better still, ask in the following thread which is specific for installation troubleshooting: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2023

Also, "Jitter" appears in "Effects > Distortions," and older versions of "Ed-fects" appear in its own submenu under "Effects." Make sure you are looking for them in the right menu.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I don't know what you're talking about, Myrddin. That's what it says. ;-)

(Thanks for catching it)
