I have been trying to download some pluggins, but when I do I never see them in the effects when I open pdn.I save the file,unzipp it, and put it in my effects folder.Am I doing something wrong? BoltBait Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Some things to check. Right-Click on the DLL files and look at the properties. See if there is an "unblock" button on the general tab. If so, click it. Did you check the various menus for your effects? For example, the Color Balance effect in my signature shows up in the Adjustment menu instead of the Effects menu. The Feather effect in my signature shows up under the Effects > Blurs submenu. Are you running the latest (3.10) version of Paint.NET? Some effects will not run on older versions of Paint.NET. Probably because I'm so much better than other plugin authors. Well, Paint.NET is working properly. You'll have to take it up with the other plugin authors as to what might be wrong.
