CWBillow Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 I have a friend that is writing/designing comics for publication. "Traditional" comic images etc. Is PAINT.NET what he can use to accomplish this? They say "the pros use Photoshop" -- but $650? Is PAINT a sound alternative? Ant advice here would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Chuck Billow Quote

ToryS. Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 if you go to a store that sells software you can find photoshop 6 for $150. But Paint.Net is very good for comics, just need a drawing pad! Quote
CWBillow Posted November 9, 2007 Author Posted November 9, 2007 Drawing pad? I'm TOTALLY dumb on this... I can understand (I think) how the drawing pad would help... but wouldn't you want or need that no matter what software you're using? Chuck Quote
Andrew D Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 It's pretty easy to create comics in PDN, infact I'm busy creating one myself. I'll get the link up of it in a little bit if you want it. Quote
