Can someone help me with this?

I created a great collage and after saving I went to send it to a friend but when its opened it is tiny and you cannot even read it. I set it up to be an 8x10 but for some reason I cannot figure out how to do it right. You end up with a ton of white and then my collage is tiny in the top right hand corner. How do I save this so when it is opened it is the right size?

Centimeters? Inches? Ratio?
