swizz_gurl
Hi I'm new here and I already felt comfortable using paint.net. However I am just wondering if there's anyway I can convert a regular photo to an Infrared look?

barkbark00
Yeah, are you looking for infrared b/w or a infared color alteration? Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
swizz_gurl
Something like this I got this link from wikpedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Nikau-IR.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrared_photography I've seen how they do it on photoshop but have no idea with paint.net. Thanks [/img]
barkbark00
You get something close to that effect if you just make the picture B/W and the invert... Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
dragonpyro
To get this: 1. Adjustments > Black and White 2. Effects > Ed-Fects > Color tint (plugin, curves may alsowork) 3. Choose a cyan(light blue) color. 4. Ctrl+Shift+i to invert colors. I'm not sure if that's what your looking for or not. But you can play around with it.
