Hello All,

I am trying to create a block (20x20) with rounded corners. I have tried several differnet approaches but none of them seem to work. Can somebody write up a quick tutorial to show me how or point me in to a tutorial which could be helpful? Any help will be greatly apprecaited.

thanks in advance.[/img]

try making a 20x20 rectangle and then using the pencil tool to remove 1px from each of the corners. If that's not rounded enough, remove 3px from each corner (one from the very corner and then 1px from either side) and then fill in 1px inside the rectangle.

that wasn't very well explained.

eg, if your canvas was 6x6, 'o' represents white, 'x' black, something like this:

ooxxoo

oxooxo

xoooox

xoooox

oxooxo

ooxxoo

Make the canvas bigger then when your finished making your button you can reduce the size of the canvas.

Good idea.

I would work with a canvas of, say, 200x200. Then, when finished, Image > Resize before saving your final output.

Click to play:
