deeman
Hello - I am very, very new to this type of software (enhanced photo program) and I am going through the tutorials trying to learn how to use the features. The only thing I am really struggling with is how to move ad re-size text after it is done. I am keeping it as a separate layer and can not seem to select it to make any changes. Any advice is very welcomed!!! Mike
Hellfire010
Once you unselect the text object it becomes an image rather than text. The only way to reformat it is to reenter the text.
Illnab1024
Well, this isn't going to be implemented for a while, if it is - because Paint.NET isn't object-oriented now, meaning doing things like you describe would be very difficult. deeman
Many thanks!!! I am really starting to get the hang of this program and love it! Thanks for the responses and to those who spent time developing it!
MadJik
If the text is on a separe layer, you could still move/resize it as picture. To select it with the magic wand hold Shift and click on a letter. Then M to choose move tool. Then you are able to move it and/or resize it... If you enlarge it, it will have some blur... Hellfire010
If you enlarge it, it will have some blur... Which is why redoing it would be better. It isn't that hard to retype text anyway.
