S0S
When working on this image to correct poor spelling, I find that when I switch to "Move selected pixels" I can't move the selected pixels. Here's the screenshot -> Let me know if you need any more info., I'm using Paint.NET Beta 1.
BoltBait
You don't need to click and drag within the selection in order to move it. Just click and drag outside of your selection, away from your nubs. S0S
Thanks for the reply, BoltBait, when I used the "Move selected pixels" tool in the past I've been able to move the pixels and manipulate the image. When I use it this time it just scales the pixels when I need them moved to a different position. I didn't know if this was a bug so I went ahead and posted it. BoltBait
Yeah, I've noticed when zoomed in the nubs seem to grab the mouse when you don't feel that you're near them. Coriy
I cannot get the move selected pixels to do anything but distort the selection. Even cut and paste only lets me grab nubs and distort the image. I have figured out a workaround, though. Just copy (or cut) the selelction, paste into a new layer and move the entire layer. It's awkward and makes precise placement difficult. But...
Kaiser Yoshi
Move the mouse around until it changes into a black arrow. Then you can click and drag. It doesn't have to be inside the selection.
BoltBait
Coriy, as I said in a previous post... You don't need to click and drag within the selection in order to move it. Just click and drag outside of your selection, away from your nubs. Try it this way and see if it works.
