PDN Crashes after several edits/effects are applied.

I don't know if this is a plug-in problem or an issue with PDN. For a couple days now, I've lost my work (images w/multiple layers of effects applied) to PDN crashing as I'm editing.

I tried to attach the pdncrash.log to this post but apparently, I don't have permission to post a log. This error was returned, "Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file".

I don't have access to my email right now, so I hope I can paste the log here and it will reach the right person.

If I am causing the app to get confused, can someone please tell how to prevent this issue from recurring? If not, I understand.

Hope someone is able to fix this. I prefer to use PDN because Photoshop is so bloated, but unfortunately, I can't use it if I keep losing my work. That makes me sad, so I hope it can be fixed. :(

I'm not sure why you think I don't restart PDN. I have no choice. I have to restart. It prompts to restart and asks me if I want to save the image first, but when I save it, it either only saves one layer or it saves all layers merged. I do save often. When this log was generated, I had PDN open while I was sleeping and after an earlier crash.

Are there any specific plugins that you are using when this error occurs? Does it happen when you try to save it?

The following explanation maybe a whole lotta balony as I am not a developer for PDN, nor do I programme in VB .Net for drawing functions to the level of Rick or others. I have some experience with VB .NET, Lua, PHP, VBA and Java programming languages, but only at an intermediate level. So here is an explanation as layman and as well as I can manage with my limited knowledge of the programme:

From the log it looks like you are trying to save it while you have the magic wand tool active or that a plugin is trying to access the memory area while it is locked by the current tool. The basis for this particular error is that the "scratch surface area" (temporary area to store data) is owned by the current tool. Unless the tools ownership is released by a null function( thing that clears the ownership marker to 0). Then it will tell PDN that it has done a naughty thing and give you the error.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot the issue.
