RaveN
If your art teacher has no clue what photoshop is, he shouldn't be an art teacher. I suggest using a program with custom gradients already setup, and make something that looks like a ribbon and gradient it.
Picc84
is there anyway? that i can just do that in paint.net? Such as... 1. draw a 5px squgily line 2. zoom blur it... (say? 16px?) 3. Magic wand that line (with zoomblur) 5. add a gradient? with the gradient tool? will that work? EDIT: I tryed it, got a horrible result... Illnab1024
Uhh...raven...technology isn't intertwined with every school, and art teachers generally draw by hand. EDIT: and in addition, I suggest drawing an outline, scanning it in, and then do digital watercoloring and digital shading...shading is key... RaveN
If they teach art, if that is their craft, if it is used in the school or not, they should at least know what it is....
