trithorn
Hey all. I was wondering if anyone would know how many pixels (ex: 50x50) would equal an inch in real life. Or does it depend on my computer screen and other things like that? thanks.

Rick Brewster
It depends on the resolution you've set in the image. DPI = dots per inch (pixels per inch) 96 DPI = 96 pixels per inch. By default, Paint.NET creates new images at 96 DPI. Use Image->Resize to check the DPI (resolution). david.atwell
Sticky'd in the newbie playground is a tutorial called "DPI and YOU!," written by me. Take a look, it might help. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
