tarses
Hi all, are there any documentations about the PDN File Format? I can't find anything. Thanks for help. Greets Tarses
Rick Brewster
There is no documentation for it, nor an SDK. tarses
Thx for fast the fast reply. Are there any plans to open the format in future? I don't know any layer based pic format which is open (are there any?) and I think further implementation of the format in other software might boost paint.net popularity, too. Just an idea after searching a file format to archive pictures with layers.
Simon Brown
What about XCF? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XCF_%28file_format%
tarses
OK didn't know about .xcf but the problem is. The format is neither used in paint.net nor in Photoshop. Which are the two programs used by my customer. Well .psd could be used, as the two programs support this, but for archiving I would prefer an open file format. And GIMP only for converting .psd into .xcf is not really practical. Well I will have to wait might be the OpenRaster format will be better adopted.
