Dragon Lady
I have accidently clicked the X button on the colour pallette. It's gone, completely, can't find it anywhere. Can someone tell me how I can get the colour pallette back please. *hanging head in embarassment*

Dragon Lady
Thanks Folks. Easy when you know how, isn't it? Now all I've got to do is learn how to use the programme properly.
forbiddenrose
Yes it is easy when you know how......it's hard to believe some of these artists were complete numpty newbies once isn't it. I was completely stuck before i discovered layers as my black disappeared under my colouring XD... PeterG
Forbiddenrose, its very refreshing to see this, we all have to start somewhere, and sometimes it can be uphill.... Dragonlady, I am by no means an expert with this, but consider layers as many transparant sheets, piled on top of one another, each could contain differing images, yet when put together they form one image. Layers can be made visible or not, and you are able to work on them individually, one at a time.... The layers menu allows you to create new ones, empty blank sheets, copies of others, move them up and down, or delete them... Practice will make it easier as you go along Peter Quote When nothing short of Divine Intervention can get the job done!

barbieq25
Peter, that is a great explanation of layers. Dragon Lady, I found it very useful to work through the tutes. You learn how various plugins & effects work. It really accelerates your learning. Please feel free to PM me if you need help. I am always willing to help if I can. Forbiddenrose & Peter, that includes you as well. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. Â April Jones, 2012 Â Gallery My DA Gallery
PeterG
Hello Barbieq25 I shall do that, thankyou, sometimes I am in awe of the images I see here. To design anything new is amazing.. and I enjoy seeing what you all do, creating images from scratch is difficult enough, making them a reality is something else altogether. I am a "newbie", but not entirely.... Just browsing, and being able to see the wide range, diversity and styles that are here, I enjoy very much Regards Peter Quote When nothing short of Divine Intervention can get the job done!
