Mr Ed
To add lighting effects (spot, multiple beam, shadow) such as Marc Lighting for phototshop had (cant find it on the web anymore for examples). Mystical Lighting has some of what I was looking for (links below). Also is there a different lens flare plugin (or tutorial) than the published one (lensflare)? One final though if I may, I would like to extend my THANKS to all who work to make Paint.Net and it's plugins great. http://www.autofx.com/products/ml/effec ... aster.html http://www.autofx.com/products/ml/effec ... aster.html http://www.autofx.com/products/ml/effec ... light.html http://www.autofx.com/products/ml/effec ... 007 Nab
Most of these lighting effects can be created by hand using the paintbrush, blurs, and then layer blend modes. For the pic with the man on the couch, you can paintbrush like I said, and then run the glow effect, and you should be able to achieve a close outcome. Hope I was of some help, Nabster Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. We should go snowboarding some time."~ 007 Nab. Ish. PDN Gallery | I Made a Deviant Art! Lance McKnight
You could also use white-to-transparent gradient set on Radial to give a lighting effect. 007 Nab has it down pat with the blending options. Mainly, the power of PDN lies in the use of layers. Good luck. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.
Mr Ed
Thanks guys. Now that you two have helped kick start my brain I remember these were done with macros that opened a number of layers which were then manipulated. Wow that was almost 4 years ago I dropped Photoshop for PDN but just now have found the time to start really working with it and its plugins. Axle
the lighting would be just a line or radial render with fades, transparencey and some blurs Quote My Deviant Art | My Gallery
