KMH Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I downloaded the Paint.NET program, but it won't open. It says I need Microsoft . NET Framework? Why & What is that? Quote
david.atwell Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 The .NET Framework is a large library of pre-coded solutions to common programming problems. It's necessary to have this in order to run Paint.NET, as well as many other programs. There's a link to the .NET download page on the same page you downloaded Paint.NET from: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html . :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Simon Brown Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 The .NET framework allows certain applications which were written in languages like C# to be run. It can be downloaded here. Quote
