Pete Jones
Hi, I'm trying to create custom shapes in Paint.net that I can export and import into Power BI. The shapes I want to create will each be one segment of a sunburst chart. So, when I put them individually into power BI they will form a hollow segmented ring. I have a picture of the chart I want to replicate (pic 1 below). I've used the magic wand tool to select individual segments, pasted them into a blank canvas and saved as .png (pic 2 below). All well and fine. However how do I save the image so it is a shape, not a picture of the shape in a rectangle? Is this possible? Do I need to save as another format? Pixey
Hello @Pete Jones I would make all the shapes in the ShapeMaker Plugin. There is also a great tutorial here on how to use it. 1 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon.
