Vosperd
Hi I have Win 10, ver 1607. I don't seem to be able to update this. Paint.net ver 5.11 requires 1809 or later. I did find a previous version of Paint.net but it still tries to install ver5.11 which of course fails. Is there a link to a version of Paint.net that I can install? Thanks for any advice Don
Tactilis
Sorry, no. We cannot help here regarding old versions of paint.net. Please see the Forum Rules (click the link, top right on this page). Note rule #7 and #8. To quote @Rick Brewster from another thread: Quote In any case, you need the latest version of Paint.NET before we can be of any assistance with anything related to Paint.NET. If that means you have to update your OS, then that's what is needed. Windows 10 v1607 is 7 years old, and v1809 is 5 years old. There's really no good reason to not update your OS within that timeframe, particularly on a personal computer.
Rick Brewster
You need to update your OS. Windows 10 v1809 is 5 years old, there's no reason to not have it (or newer) installed at this point. Solution BoltBait Posted November 24, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 24, 2023 When Rick says your OS is 5 years old, he means you're missing 5 years of security patches. It's dangerous to even surf the web with such an OS. Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
