Error when installing paint.net 5.0.11

Hi,

 

For years I'm using your program and like it very much. Now I want to install it on my new computer and it gives an error unfortunately. I tried different downloads, but no positive result. Intstall.anycpu should just work, right? Other applications are installed without problems. Any ideas? Thank you.

OS: Windows 11 64 bit

As you may have attempted multiple downloads, it may be a good idea to use this tool, then try to download again:

Hi Pixey,

Well, I don't know why other people can use the download link getpaint is providing, but I tried on 2 computers and our IT guy from work tried to install and it does not work. He found a workaround by downloading the file manually and not via the installer. There was no block or something, it just doesn't work. Thanks for the link anyways.

@Mrtn make sure you don't have a network/firewall block for getpaint.net or github.com
