Is there any chance of hosting a paint.net.latest.msi ?

EXEs and MSIs are always distributed inside of a ZIP. Not for the compression, but for the simple fact that any unzip program will validate the integrity of the enclosed file as part of extracting it from the archive. It is very easy to download a 'raw' file, have it be corrupted somehow (bad network card, etc.), and wind up with a corrupted install. This isn't theoretical -- this is exactly what used to happen. Not for many, of course, but just enough. It even happened to a friend of mine: the new PC he put together was having all sorts of issues with Internet downloads, it turned out to be a bum NIC. This was back in like 2005 though.
