Mervil
i have this image: I want to take the face of this block and rotate it so it is oriented to fit on the lower and right faces of this block. I got the lower face rotated "ok", but dad-gum if I can't get any sort of rotation for that right face. I wish I could just control the rotation along the specific X, Y, and Z axes one at a time... Thank you PDN geniuses!!

If you have the original texture, you may want to use Shape3D and start from the beginning. It would be a bit of work, but you can rotate it to your hearts desire. If you need to create the texture/pattern, there is a tut that can help you. Although your image appears to be on a transparent layer, it is not. Mervil
Thank you for the reply! I do indeed have the original texture: I made it myself. I also have the Shape3D plugin, but when i apply the plugin to this image, it only applies the image to the front face, and no other faces. Indeed, I used both of the tutorials in that post that you linked to make the diamond plate image I posted. 1 hour ago, AndrewDavid said: Although your image appears to be on a transparent layer, it is not. I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. If the image I created is on its own layer, and there's no other pixels on the layer, would that not mean that the rest of the layer is transparent? EDIT: Oh, yeah. Shape3D DOES work, I just had to select the correct texture map Edited January 29, 2022 by Mervil

That's because it's a screenshot from the app 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
