toe_head2001 Posted August 5, 2021 Share Posted August 5, 2021 (From what I understand) A lot code infrastructure changes are necessary for proper pen pressure and brush support. Much of that "prep-work" has been done in the last couple of years; Like optimizing operations on the canvas to reduce jank. Windows 7 doesn't provide the APIs for Pressure Sensitivity, so I suspect this feature would be added to paint.net when/after it discontinues support for Win 7. It should also be noted the current release (the alpha) wasn't originally planned to be called v4.3 Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.
