Erase in form of some shape

Hello, this may seem confusing, but I will try to explain it the best I can.

 

I want to erase colored pixels and leave only transparent background in some form of shape, like star or circle.

Yes, you can use the Shapes tool to "erase".  In the toolbar, just change the Blending Mode to Overwrite.

 

Overwrite is the last one in the list:
