Paint .NET requires Windows 7 Platform Update

So when I try to install PDN, I get that Paint .NET requires Windows 7 Platform Update, when I try to install Windows 7 Platform Update I get the error that your pc is not applicable with this update. I have win7 sp1 and it is updated to the latest version.

There are two of them. One for a 32bit OS and another for a 64bit OS. Can this be your problem?

I still get the error and I am installing it manually..

@HyReZ is correct: You have run the wrong update file. You are supposed to run one of the files; not both.  If one doesn't work, run the other one.

 

 

For example, if I try to run the x86 file on my x64 computer, I see that same message.

I did that. But well the problem is solved. I got a windows update today so I updated my windows after that I was able to run the Platform update. Thank you guys for trying to help!
