hippolippo Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 I have an image that has a transparent background and I want to enlarge and have the quality improve using the best quality option, the problem that I am having is that when I enlarge it the outside will fade away because the transparency is mixing with it. Is there a way that everything will mix except for the transparent parts? Quote
BoltBait Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Couple of things you could try. First, install my plugin pack (link in sig) as you'll need it in one try: 1) When resizing the image, try using "Nearest Neighbor" instead of "Best Quality" If that doesn't do what you want... 2) Resize the image using "Best Quality", then run the Adjustments > Transparency plugin and move the slider all the way to the right. HyReZ Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Greetings Hippolippo, I have never experienced a raster image improving in 'quality' by enlarging it. Quote
