noctilucent
Is it possible to increase UI text size (menus, toolbars)? I've had a quick look through the program files & appdata folders in addition to the menus, and I‘m not having much luck. I did try search, but if there‘s an answer there it’s well-hidden under all the posts about adding text to an image. Thanks in advance! toe_head2001
Your best bet would be to adjust the DPI settings in Windows. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
Rick Brewster
Paint.NET works very well when the DPI scaling is increased. It does _not_ work very well when only the UI font size is adjusted. Microsoft has thankfully hidden that setting deeper and deeper with each Windows release. Because it just doesn't work. 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
noctilucent
I appreciate the suggestion. I was, however, hoping for a solution that didn't make me change everything else on my computer for the sake of one program. I guess I'll just have to change the dpi scaling any time I want to use paint.net, which is obnoxious because it prompts me to restart when I do. Are you saying that even at 288 DPI (300%), the text is too small to read? 1 Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
Rick Brewster
Sounds like a different problem entirely that should go in a new thread Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
