Is it possible to increase UI text size?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to increase UI text size (menus, toolbars)? I've had a quick look through the program files & appdata folders in addition to the menus, and I‘m not having much luck. I did try search, but if there‘s an answer there it’s well-hidden under all the posts about adding text to an image.

Thanks in advance!

Paint.NET works very well when the DPI scaling is increased.

It does _not_ work very well when only the UI font size is adjusted. Microsoft has thankfully hidden that setting deeper and deeper with each Windows release. Because it just doesn't work.

I appreciate the suggestion. I was, however, hoping for a solution that didn't make me change everything else on my computer for the sake of one program. I guess I'll just have to change the dpi scaling any time I want to use paint.net, which is obnoxious because it prompts me to restart when I do. :/

Hello I was wondering how I maximize my text in paint.net some kind of way my text is minimize and its very little even if the the text is 288

Due to your utter lack of punctuation, I'm not sure I understand your question.

Are you saying that even at 288 DPI (300%), the text is too small to read?

(September 25th, 2023)  Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.
