Rick Brewster
huh? You're not making much sense, Marco. What exactly are you doing and what exactly are you expecting? I. S. Manager
I have the same problem as Marco. Previous versions would allow you to extract x64 and x86 MSI files from the EXE. Example with options to not create a Desktop icon and to disable checking for updates by default: Paint.NET.4.0.19.Install.exe /createMsi CHECKFORUPDATES=0 DESKTOPSHORTCUT=0 With the MSI files, I could silently deploy the software to multiple computers. Instead of extracting the MSI files, the above command with paint.net.4.0.21.install.exe just starts the manual installation. In lieu of extracting the MSI files, is there a way to silently install the software using the EXE file?
I. S. Manager
I ran the command to extract the MSI files a second time and it worked. I used an unchanged CMD script, so it wasn't due to a typographical error. I can't explain it. FYI, details for unattended installation is listed here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/UnattendedInstallation.html
