iiPostMasterYT
I have a Windows Vista PC, and don't have the time or the money to look for, purchase, and use a Windows 7 install disc. Any way to get around needing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 so I can install Paint.NET on Windows Vista? I have the .NET framework installed and ready. BoltBait
Microsoft stopped supporting Vista back in 2012. Running an unsupported operating system puts your system at risk for viruses or worse. You need to get with the times. We can not help you on this forum until you upgrade to the latest version of paint.net. Closed. Rick Brewster
Paint.NET uses Windows components that Vista doesn't have. It wouldn't work even if you could hack Paint.NET to skip the version check.
