Request: I need a TUT; making pins, anyone?

Im making my own webpage, I've added few pins i found on google, but i dont know how to make my own. i dont want real pin pictures im looking to make something like this:

I think this isn't very hard.

make a circle selection with the ellipse selection tool while holding shift.

then fill in your favourite color with the paintbucket.

then deselect.

then add a drop shadow with the dropshadow plugin you can download in the plugin section.

add a new layer.

on the new layer paste your picture which should be on the button.

optional: add a new layer. and make gradients from white to black and lower the opacity a bit

This is a good Tutorial which I think would give the same effect your looking for with a bit of playing around.

Edit: And maybe a tiny bit of bulge and as pipp said Dropshadow (be sure to read the page)
