paolo
This one's driving me nuts... I can't find how to do it from the menus or the tutorial. Is it possible to swap two layers? Specifically, what I want to do is create a new layer and put it underneath one or more existing layers. If this is not possible, it means you have to know in advance what order your layers will go in, which is an inconvenient restriction. Thanks for any help. Bob
*Move Layer Up This will move the current layer to a higher position in the layer order. *Move Layer Down This will move the current layer to a lower position in the layer order. Hope this help. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
paolo
*Move Layer Up This will move the current layer to a higher position in the layer order. *Move Layer Down This will move the current layer to a lower position in the layer order. Hope this help. Where do I find these? I don't see them in any of the menus. Ah, they're the arrow buttons at the bottom of the Layers window, and that is in the documentation too. Thanks very much for your help. Paolo
pogo
you're not alone-- I had a heck of a time figuring that out, but in making teh border on this graph and finally I realized that you can control copying the layers by highlighting them... but was first time I used any kind of graph softwre and first try without documentation. dialup is expensive here. pogo
will read tonight and tomorrow-- but can you guys kindly bundle some tutorials and tips and pdf them for us without 24/7 access? is really tough-- not complaining, but is sophisticated stuff to be learning by making tons of mistakes-- and is so much better to learn from thems that can. oh is the western window from st vitus cathedral in prague-- next time I will have some documentation to tell me what I am doing, but was first attempt. so have to show it off-- got very confused in layering, so thanks for all the unlimited "undo's" hullo to PNW
Rick Brewster
Moved to General Discussion because it's a general question, not tutorial-related Sorry, we don't have tutorials in PDF form. All the tutorials are on this forum. Bob
The "documentation" is just a web copy of the help located in the Help > Help Topics menu!! No Internet access required to read it. Quote No. Way. Painter_Jo
Hey all, I did change the layers using the arrows but it is not clear for me, how to get one specific layer as real background. The lowest layer is not really in the background but visible "before" a layer, which is lying above... How can explane ?
