A.Nogueira Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I am Portuguese photography professor - 37 years making photography - and the sofware of choice I always advice to my pupils is PDN, as I also work with PDN and with Capture NX, and because I find PDN simple enough and powerful for photography purposes. However one thing I really miss is the ability to have always the image "live" histogram as a "window" - as "history" and "layers" - which would change after any adjustments we make, either on levels or on curves. I know that Curves+ do have a "live" histogram, as well as on "levels", but I really miss one histogram as a side window. Is this feature being previewed for future releases of PDN ? MiguelPereira Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I don't know if this would be a future release or not, but Rick will probably consider it won't you <(this meaning that I too request this er... window? Anyways nice to see a fellow patriot where do you teach Sr. Nogueira? [The stock on my sig is a photo I took not a render from Splatter] [My deviantART][My Gallery][My Space]
A.Nogueira Posted May 26, 2008 Author Posted May 26, 2008 I Miguel, nice to have another compatriot around this great community. I really hope Rick will consider the "histogram window" in future releases of PDN. BTW, "sr" is in the heaven. innosonic Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 I am not from Portgual, but I would find it useful, too. (as well as sharpen+ and shadows/highlights recovery core-integration and maybe a Photo effects main menu) paint.net is wow-wonderful.
