  1. For jpg often the good old sRGB profile (most common standard) is better because most webbrowsers don't understand the color managment. Support for .tiff images (core or plugin) with advanced ICC profile such as AdobeRGB1998 (more colors for other media) or ProPhoto (even more, it really makes visible sense even on the computer) as they are got from CaptureOne really would be useful, also because irfanview can read them correctly now and show the image appropriately on the PC. I understand it's not possible till tomorrow but please keep it in mind. old thread, but still better than a new one. Today paint.net can read those .tiff files out of CaptureOne with large ICC profile color spaces, but the colors are shown wrongly, with much too less saturation. The advanced ICC profiles are becoming popular among amateurs as me and it's one of the few things which Photoshop still can do better.
  2. I am from Germany. Do you want to start a thread in German, a German sub-forum oder an external forum ? I guess a good way to help making paint.net more popular is posting it in camera forums like digitalkamera.de, at mister-wong with titles like Bildbearbeitung or to run your own forum. It's already popular at chip.de, a meaningful download site. You can also start a group at studiVz, the German Facebook, but a forum should be better because it's visible for the google bots. edit: http://www.dig3.net You have already done that ! I'll give you some smaller backlinks during the upcoming weeks.
  3. Thanks. The lasso is really more suitable than I thought, but just making brighter looks rather unnatural. I do own Photoshop newest version, it's a question of operating, not of the exact program.
  4. I just removed a fence in front of plants - with the clone tool.
  5. Looking for a real challenge ? Create a white teeth plugin similar to a red eye removal, but I guess it's more diddficult than it seems at the beginning. That's why I am glad that I cannot code at all.
  6. I am not from Portgual, but I would find it useful, too. (as well as sharpen+ and shadows/highlights recovery core-integration and maybe a Photo effects main menu) paint.net is wow-wonderful.
