    Thank you all for your kind words. It means a lot to have such great support. Mum had a nice send off today with a lot of the family present.

    Sadly on monday 23rd of January I lost a niece at the tender age of 33. It goes without saying that the family is crushed. Not a good start to our year. I will return to host the comp in the near future, but not sure how soon.

    Once more, many thanks for the condolences. Those I have not yet rep'd I will give them when mine are refreshed again.

    Once again due to low turn out in this weeks SOTW Manga / Animee comp, I will extend it for one more week only (Jan 6) Will take it from there to see if there are enough entries to set up the poll. There is not much interest in SOTW in past months, let's hope at least two or three more entries can be submitted.

    Obviously due to the upcoming arrival of Santa and all things festive. Folk are occupied with other things, so I have extended this weeks sig of the week (Manga / Animee) until December 30. Same deadline time (7PM UK Time) Time conversion in entry thread. Hope to see a few more entries after the mince pies have been eaten :D

    The theme this week is – Manga or Anime.  which has been chosen by – Maximilian (SOTW#159 Winner) 
    This week you're challenged to design and create a signature based upon Manga or Anime Characters. It could be a self-portrait in manga style, a character or characters created from scratch, or maybe your own version of an already existent character.

    The deadline for entries is 7:00pm (UK Time) on –  Friday January 6.
    (This may change depending on entrant totals / Festive season preparations)   
    To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time

     

    Competition Rules   

    1. Max sig dimensions 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your sig.   
    2. Signatures may be either Horizontal or Vertical.  
    3. Please keep your signature family friendly.  
    4. Keep to the theme that has been set.  
    5. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline!   
    6. Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous.  
    7. Your entry must be made using Paint.net.  Please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. 
    8. There are multiple entries per entrant allowed.  
    9. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature, your entry should be voted on based on the size layed out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery.  

    The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition.  Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering.

    Due to a slow and low turnout  sig of the week (pets) will have its entry deadline extended to Friday 2nd of December (7PM UK Time - time conversion in the entry thread) All been well this will give more time for anyone working on an entry who also have real life to deal with too B)

    SOTW (Halloween topic) deadline has been extended for Two reasons:

    1 - Not many entrants so far :/

    2 - Invited as guest to Berlin to watch Yello perform for the last two days of their sell out shows at the Kraftwerk :D Oh Yeah B)

     

    Deadline for the comp entries is now Friday November 4th (7PM UK time) timezone conversion in original thread.
