  1. Hello, I need help. I am trying to save this picture without a background. So when I open it and copy it and add to another picture as a layer I just get the droid without the white background showing. As of now only way I know how to do it erase the white then layer it to another picture but each time I save it I get the white backgroud back.

magic wand the white layer, delete it and save as png. Jpg does not support transparency

  2. Still can't remove it totally and the resulting .ico image it makes with both the plug-in and the stand-alone program is of poor quality. I thought that it would be a fairly simple procedure to just use the Magic Wand to separate the image and lock out the unwanted outer part so it can't be seen after the image is saved.

I guess I'll have to wait for the company to put out an .ico image. BTW, saving as .png didn't help.

P.S. Is it possible for someone here with more knowledge to do it, or is it impossible to do with that particular image?

got this with magic wand at set at 21%tube.png

  3. Many of your posts are coming up with an error from ImageShack. Maybe use Photobucket instead - just make sure you make the albums private or you'll run out of bandwidth in no time at all.

    Thanks for your advice Barbie.boltbait.big_smile.png

  4. Well, you should write in the plugins thread about this problem, not the plugin forum but anyway, the "Sample Brush.png" will not be in the brushes menu, you will have to rename it and if you want to add other they must be A. transparent and B. saved as PNG, and then put them into the folder which opens when you press "Add/remove brushes"

Sorry about posting in wrong thread, thanks for your help.boltbait.hmm.png
