Very nice image, although the planet texture does look a little dark and as himself said, too much nebulae cluttering the picture. 6/10 A place to call home- 100% paint.net

@Chrisco: That is a very good first spacescape, I wish I could have had a first spacescape like that, unfortunatley mine was just a pink blob and some white dots around it, im looking forward to seeing what kind of spacescape you are capable of. @Nictarquini: Nice image, although the pinkish-purple thing does look a bit out of place near a blue planet, mabye you could try using Hue/Saturation to change it to a blue colour? This is my first attempt at a non-100% paint.net spacescape (The planet texture was a screenshot from google maps.)

Guys come on, dont just post your images right after another user, please allow them some time to gain feedback, and if you dont want to wait, at least have the politeness to comment on their work. Respect the rules guys, they help to keep order in this forum.

@barbieq: Beautiful piece, I love the way that you are able to make gold so glossy , mabye put in a background, because it seems a little empty floating in a black void. @mayormcsteeze: Nice Mars, although the texture does look a little repetitive and the edges are still jaggies it is very good for a quick piece, and very nicely put together 2 new spacescapes- tell me which one looks the best and you get a

@ heavymetalcat: very nice, the edges do look aliased and jagged though, you could fix that up with boltbait's feather if you still have the pdn file saved, mabye you could even remake it in a year or two and have picked up some more tricks. @Mayor Mcsteeze: I love version 1, your spacescapes are definitely improving quickly heres a tip though, when you have a picture with a big planet you shouldn't use as many stars, it tends to clutter the picture up and makes the planet look out of place. (By the way, very nice stars, they look a lot like my own :smiley-wink:)

thanks for pointing that out, it kinda does look like the clouds are too thick, and big, but i can fix that later

@IAO- yeah, it just doesn't fit into the picture properly when I make it bigger.

very nice mcSteeze, it fits into the background excellently, but some of the edges of your nebula look a bit cut out. @CSM- I think he is trying to make it look like the nebula is going around the planet. Heres my latest piece, Solace and Misfortune

Your newest space picture looks excellent , all it needs is a bit of a touchup on the atmosphere, and the pointed star looks a bit blury.

Thanks As for the stars, there's sort of a hidden meaning to my picture, the planet has the same colours as a colour wheel and the stars can be seen as little paint splotches, it's sort of like a little colour palette floating through space. :wink:

very nice texture. It would look a bit nicer with a rounder shadow on the planet, the one you've got kinda makes it look a bit flat, and try adding a few more stars- the background looks a bit plain. 8/10 stars Here is my latest piece, inspired by the Halo video game.

I have been working on my lens flare technique for a considerable amount of time now, and this is my end result I hope you all like it, because it took a long time, and please give me feedback so that i can improve it.
