  1. Not necessarily. I know a lot of people who use Windows because it's the best for what they want to do but absolutelly hate it. Except that very few people run multiple OSes and so lack experience with more than one. Personally, yes I would agree with you. Although many people are in the situation where they run one OS at home and their work/school runs another. I know the middleschool I used to go to ran Mac OS X.

  3. If you mean they may have a new motherboard for you, I would bet they do. Get something that supports dual, or even quad core processors. I don't want a multi core processor. Some games have issues recognizing the other cores. I just want pure speed.
  4. Darnit. They don't have the processor I want. May be could for the motherboard I need though.
  5. Look at Newegg.com. Great store! Doesn't want to load. Gets to about halfway then freezes... :?
  6. Does anybody know a good online store where I can buy a Intel PentiumĀ® 4 661 Processor, 3.6GHz? My Google searches have been less than fruitful and the only site I found hasn't had any in stock for like 5 months. If no online stores can be recommended perhaps a brick and mortar store could be recommended.
  7. I'm not arguing about what you think I'm arguing about. See what I mean about jumping to conclusions people? You just proved your own point, as Yata might not have been thinking about what you think he was thinking about. No, I'm pretty sure I know to what he is referring since he was complaining about it yesterday as well.

  9. My rant: I hate political correctness. Why should I drastically change my thought and speach patterns because one word practically brings someone to tears. Euphamisms suck... @Myrddin I was not referring to cursing.
  10. True. But a lot of people seem to neglect the fact that words that may be considered offensive can, especially on the internet, take on radically different meanings which are not offensive at all. People tend to jump to conclusions before they get in all the facts.
  11. Like I said, the words themselves aren't to blame. It's how people interperet them. Humanity has this horrendous ability to see/hear what they want to see/hear. Innocent comments are taken the wrong way all the time. Regardless of what word is spoken/typed the person on the receiving end can turn it into whatever they want given the right motivation. @sabrown100 That's what I call extrenuating circumstances
  12. Words are the most powerful things on this planet. With words are entire nations lifted up and put down. It was words that united the disenfranchised British colonists to sign declaration of cessation and independence from the greatest superpower on the planet knowing that the odds of their victory were so low, they were almost negative. Words have also started every war that has ever been fought. Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated for his views, kicking off World War I. World War II was instigated by the rhetoric by the charismatic Adolf Hitler. The American Civil War began because of the words of one Abraham Lincoln. The list goes on. Saying that words can't hurt you is like saying that bullets can't hurt you. Sure, when used in a safe manner, they're harmless. But when they're given force and direction, they stay. They stick. And they never let go of your back. Words make some of the most painful agony ever felt, and some of the sweetest softness. I disagree with you; they're not "just" anything. The words themselves didn't actually do anything. It's HOW they were used and who was saying them that has the impact. Just going up to someone and saying the word "cookie" isn't going to make them go out and buy cookies (unless they can't think for themselves or have really low will power).
  13. The iPhone still sounds like overkill to me.
  14. I heard in June, we will get an answer on the 3G iphone. If not, SE's X1 is my next phone. What's so great about the iPhone anyway? Does anybody really need all those functions on a cell phone?
  15. Why are people so upset over words? They're just words. "Offensive" or not they can't hurt you.
  16. Never heard of them, lol. Leningrad? (I very much doubt anyone's ever even heard of them, lol. They're a Russian band if anyone cares)
  17. And lame excuses don't stop mods if they want to ban. True, but it's not like these kids haven't heard these words before.
