  1. Set the canvas size to the size of the paper you're printing on. Make sure the image you want to print is in one of the upper corners (for ease of cutting out). It will then print out your image the exact size it is on the screen. The rest will come out blank white.
  2. Could possibly work. I'll give it a try and let you guys know. EDIT: No, didn't really work out that well. On the plus side I figued out how to make a realistic looking strand of hair (as if viewed in a microscope) Another Edit: This is kind of what I'm going for.
  3. Tried that. Comes out looking too flat for my tastes. Looks more like old metal than brand new, highly polished metal.
  4. I'm trying to figure out how to make a shiny, metallic surface. Essentially something made out of polished steel or aluminum. I noticed the metallic text tutorial but for anything other than text it looks kind of cheesy and fake. So far all my own attempts have been fruitless. Anybody have any ideas?
  5. I've never actually seen that movie, lol. I was joking around with some friends one day and it came to me, lol.
  6. Not a lot of work to this but funny none the less, lol.
  7. If you're absolutelly new to Paint.net I personally wouldn't recommend using the beta. Betas are known for their iffy reliability.
  8. Wow. Looks almost like the real thing. Great job!
  9. What the heck. I might as well toss my hat into the ring. (Shrunken a bit by photobucket, btw. Original dimensions are 1260x800)
  10. looking good jerkfight, but something seems off to me, I'm not sure what it is. Maybe its the shape of the treasure box? The corners just seem to sharp. Maybe it's made out of plywood, lol.
  11. http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4196&hilit=pleasantville This should help
  12. Okay, say you save something and forget to save it as a .pdn file. Later on you want to make some changes. Is there any way to open it and re-layer it? The format I'm thinking of specifically is .png. This may be a stupid question but hey, never hurts to ask.
  13. I agree with the others... this is some excellent work. I think that is the best signature graphic I've seen so far. I agree with Pyro that your name should be slightly more clear, but that should be easy to fix. Even as it is, it is excellent. Did you do this all yourself? The image on the right I pulled off Google Image. It's from one of my favourite animes (Bleach). I wish I could draw that well, lol.
  14. Kreeos, of all the stuff I've seen of yours, this is my favorite. Thanks ^_^ @pyro Oops, lol. Forgot to save it in .pdn format so ya... Anyway, still looks alright. On that note though, is there a way to open an .png and re-layer it?
  15. The problem is all the really good members here have set the bar too high. Everyone else expects every tutorial to be up to that ridiculously high standard.
  16. thank you , once i got the idea in my head of how to do it, it was actually quite simple, if you can teach yourself to break things down you can draw anything. If it lets me attach this you can read this, i never did finish it because some people said it was to basic, but its amazing how many people over look the simplest things. I know. I made a moon tutorial the other day and a lot of people seem to think it's too basic. Although what I did in the tutorial I'd never seen another person on this forum do.
